Yup, finally broke down and just did it. One thing that is really annoying was not being able to capture objectives quickly so what to do? One word: JETBIKES! And this gives me an excuse to have Eldar...and a Farseer. Now...to work in the Wraithknight...

Grey Knights:
HQ:
Coteaz

Troops:
10 GKSS 2 psycannons psybolt ammunition
Rhino psybolt ammunition

10 Terminators 2 psycannons 5 hammers 5 Halberds psybolt ammunition

Henchman-
2 Jokaero
3 Warrior Acolytes plasma gun power armor
3 Servitors multi-melta
Chimera

Fast Attack:
Stormraven TL multi-melta Assault Cannon psybolt ammunition
Techmarine

Heavy Support:
Dreadnought 2 TL Autocannon psybolt ammunition
Dreadnought 2 TL Autocannon psybolt ammunition

Eldar:

HQ:
Farseer on Jetbike

Troops:
10 Jetbikes 3 Shuriken Cannons

10 Jetbikes 3 Shuriken Cannons

This army did have another detachment of:
10 GKSS 2 psycannons psybolt ammunition
Rhino psybolt ammunition

But I took that out to make room for the 20 Jetbikes. I was jumping back and forth between them or the Terminators and I know it would probably be better to take away the Terminators because I could fit some more things into this army but I really like Terminators plus I have a really fun time dropping the Terminators from the Storm Raven onto things and watching them have fun dishing out pain. I could do the same for the GKSS and eliminate a Rhino but that previous statement about liking Terminators. Although freeing up some space to take something else could be fun, like some Guardians or a Heavy Support Platform on the Eldar side.

Have you considered a no name inquisitor for the servo skulls. Servo skulls block infiltration and give you something to deep strike too. Need more shots in corteaz warband. He gets free shots at deep strikers give them a reason not to deep strike near you

Psybolt ammo. It's a trap!!

Split your ss drop the termies grab some paladins 2 pay cannon 3 storm bolters. 8 rending shots a turn!!!

Drop the tech marine and get another warband or squeeze another psyrifle dread in.

12 s8 attacks at 48" yes please. I'm sorry you can't get to my psyrifles while the paladins stomp your army

The main problem I have with taking the paladins is that it would keep me from having a high troop count. Even with the toughness of the paladins, it gives them the ability to focus fire. Even Paladins can only stand so many dice rolls. Right now the way I use the terminators is being able to drop them off anywhere in the battle field and splitting them into a 5 man squad allows me to just drop them off from the Stormraven on any objective to hold it. It was my answer to not having high mobility but it still isn't enough against some armies.

The techmarine help to keep my stormraven as a distraction. They fire on the stormraven and my techmarine just sits in there repairing it. He has normal repair capabilities and can use his psychic powers to repair 2 hull points at a time. Makes the stormraven that more annoying but having another set of psyrifles would be better.

Mainly, I wanted to see if taking out that strike squad to put in 20 jetbikes would be worth it.

The Twilight Zone

Perhaps I read your list wrong, but as it stands your a fair bit over on points.

Eldar make nice allies, but a farseer can't buff your GK units due to allies of convience, so you are either going for debuff and witchfire powers, or are going to buff the bikes. The bikes don't need to be 10 strong, you can run 9 as you really just want the cannons, the extra bodies are not required. Consider a smaller 3 man squad for sheer objective stealing and to get your list at 2k. The strike squad is generally better than the bikes at everything but scoring and speed. Bikes are great small for objectives, or mid to large for actual combat. 2 big squads is generally overkill.

Rhino's don't need psybolt ammo for the single stormbolter. Neither does the raven unless your taking hurricane bolters, so drop it here as well. A techmarine is OK, but you don't have any need to bolster terrain with such a mobile list. Repairing the stormraven is cute, but I don't think its worth the points. If you are going to take him, give him some grenades and have him go with the terminators into combat. Blind and rad grenades go a very long way.

For your henchmen, plasma cannons are better buys for the servitors. You want more warriors for cheap bodies, but power armor and plasma guns are overkill. The chimps and servitors should be shooting most of the time, using the acolytes as cheap fodder or dakka. Bolters are your best bet for cheap, never bother with power armor on a model with such weak stats.

I seriously question keeping your terminators in the raven. That is a lot of points in a single unit that does not even begin on the board. If you keep your bikes in reserve you basically have a rhino, 2 dreads and chimera to start, not very scary. Maybe deep strike them, or split them into 2 squads, one deep strike one raven, or just get more stuff on the board.

I realized that I was over points once I sat down to actually calculate everything. I didn't have my books on me when I wrote it and was guesstimating most of it. I don't want to take a Chimera with the Henchman squad because their use is mostly to sit behind cover and provide heavy support fire. Another elimination is the techmarine out of the list. This list was modified from a previous pure GK list.

Honestly when it comes to the Jetbike squads, I am more than likely drop to drop it to at least 9 man squads if not into multiple groups of 3 with the Farseer to support as well as a mobile platform for witchfire and debuffs but if I do that I am honestly considering the fantasticly cheesy Jetseer Council with taking a bunch of Warlocks instead of Jetbike Guardians. I need to look at the points before I modify the list.

If I keep the jetbike squads then I will switch the stormraven to TL lascannons and use the bikes to cut down infantry and use the stormraven for more tank busting along with the dreadnoughts.

If I keep the bikes then one squad will begin in reserves while the other will start in reserves. I intend to use them for objectives and distractions to get them to fire at te bikes instead of my rhino, dreads or henchman. The second squad will come in to do serious objective holding with the support of the Farseer.

I like the terminators in the stormraven because they are not mobile on their own and do not fit in a rhino. With the stormraven it allows me to put them where I need them either in the full 10 or in 5 man squads and it has worked well before now.

With the Dreads, stormraven, and heavy support henchman I have been able to armor crack pretty well. What I have been looking for is something mobile that can be used to take down infantry quickly which GKSS in rhinos have not been able to do hence the Farseer and Jetbikes. I have just resisted making it a full Jetseer Council.

I disagree about taking the terminators in the raven, if the raven explodes each dude in it takes a strength 9 hit at AP1 which means you can lose your whole squad to lucky interception.

you would be better off taking 2 x5 paladin squads with double psycannons and drop the bolt ammo from everything as it isn't helping anyone.

As far as you henchmen go, take 5 servitors with plasma cannons in a chimera, it is cheesy and works so well for under 200pts of sheer MEQ/TEQ killing, and for AV 14 throw a monkey wagon out there too for some Av14 killing.

I have never had a problem with the Stormraven blowing up mainly because I keep it at zooming so it is hard to hit and I deep strike the terminators where I want them to go. By the time the Stormraven has drawn attention to itself, the terminators are out where they need to be and I have the Stormraven wrecking havoc where I need it. The price of those paladins would hurt me more than the terminators do now.

I do like the henchmen idea though and I will most certainly try it when I have a chance. It would save me a bit of points in the long run. I have just gotten so many opinions on henchman that it is hard to discern which to follow. People have as many varied opinions on what henchman to take as there are so many things you can do with henchman. The group I have has done well at what they are suppose to do though.
