I'm looking to buy a Badger patriot 105 some time this xmas but none of my usual websites or local stores seem to stock them
Anyone got any websites recommendations for this sort of thing?
(apologies if this sort of thing gets asked a lot)
edit:
or is ebay the way to go?

Theyve not let me down yet hehe.
For the price of a badger patriot 105 though... I'd probably look at a Harder & Steenbeck Evolution (More commonly seen as the vallejo airbrush btw)

Get a dual action airbrush off of amazon for 15-20 bucks. Thats what I use and it has the same results as the higher end stuff.
http://www.amazon.com/Image%C2%AE-Action-Decorating-Artwork-painting/dp/B0065ALBSO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1386584065&sr=8-1&keywords=dual+action+airbrush
http://www.amazon.com/0-3mm-Gravity-Dual-Action-Airbrush-Paint/dp/B005H3FMBW/ref=pd_sbs_hg_1 <--- this is the exact one I bought. Love the damn thing.
Clean it with windex and acrlyic cleaner after every use and you'll be fine.

Please dont spread disinformation!
Clearly youve not tried one of the higher end brushes.
Those cheap ones, do the job okay, and are good for the £££ but when you want to compare a dirt cheap chinese made airbrush to one from a reputable brand for 5 times the price(eg badger, Harder & steenbeck, Iwata....) you're going to find that the pricier one out shines it in everyway. Nicer to us, easier to take apart/rebuilt for cleaning, availability of spare parts, spray pattern resolution and control, more often than not the cheap ones struggle at high detail. I say this because I own several ranging from a cheap ebay purchase to a Harder % steenbeck evoilution silverline & a badger patriot 105. Have been using them for years and know full well the difference. (and you get what you pay for)
Windex contains ammonia, please employ some sort of extraction system to get rid of the fumes. (Should be doing this anyway for the paint fumes), alternatives to windex include acetone, IPA and branded airbrush cleaners. be sure to check how solvent resistant the seals are in the airbrush (cheap ones tend to be not atall) and use an appropriate cleaner. Avoid anything that can corrode chrome (e.g vinegar, which is a surfactant in most household glass cleaners)

Nothing against the cheap and cheerful ones atall, They certainly are freakin awesome for their price point!
But to suggest that they have the same results as the higher end stuff is just laughable!
To a beginner, who doesn't know the difference, or how to handle the tools or mix their paints, then the pricey one will probably be just as frustrating as the cheap one to get the hang of. But in the hands of someone who has already climbed the learning curve a bit, the build quality of the brush speaks volumes, as does the resolution it offers.
