I dont want to play whats in the film but i would like to use the warhammer world as the basis....Bretonians are

Still in reserve.

You'd basically just be using the closest proxies to whatever comes in the book. Here's what I can come up with:

- Knights of Dol Amroth for Brettonians (Kingdoms of Men)
- Warriors of Arnor for Brettonian peasants (Kingdoms of Men)
- Half-trolls for Ogres (Fallen Realms)
- Morannon Orcs as Orcs (Mordor)
- Goblins as. Well. Goblins. (Moria)
- Empire as Fiefdoms with some Gondor (Kingdoms of Men)
- Elves as elves. Wood and high match up to, well, wood and high (Free Peoples)
- Dwarves as Dwarves. Derp. (Free Peoples)
- Warriors of Chaos as Black Guard of Barad-Dur (Mordor)
- Chaos Marauders as Corsairs of Umbar (Fallen Realms)

That's all I've got off the top of my head. Completely stumped by Lizardmen.

But really since you obviously just want to do Warhammer skirmish, I think there are third-party rules or even a White Dwarf PDF out there for such a thing? LoTR:SBG is really meant for LoTR and, at a neat stretch, historical gaming or generic low-fantasy.

For one thing they are so different I do not think you could use Many of the Fantasy models for LOTR, The scale is different, the bases are different, The Rules are very different. IF you are just proxies, there would be alot of work to make it happen. Half trolls are like 50 the size of Ogres, I am guessing you could use minatars as Mordor trolls. Ogers as cave trolls? they would look funny. Also If you are simply looking to play Warhammer skirmish, Then there are Rules out there for that, and you would not have to convert the models. Otherwise, The fantasy line does not convert to LOTR line, In much the same way as Other than Caous you would not use fantasy models in 40k.

There still isn't any reson why he shouldn't do it. Yes it may look rong but it would anyway. A bit of green stuff may also do some magic.
