Hi everyone,

so ive been working on a thousand sons based army for a while now and im not really sure what to add to it to help me in my games.
my army isn't exactly fluff speciffic due to having tzeentch units mixed with khorne units, but the idea was the khorne units couod act as bit 8f combat support due to the TS being weak in combat. (In terms of attacks etc)

My question is where do I go from here. What do I add to give my army a little more verity whilst keeping it predominantly tzeentch?

so here is my current army, no# of troops and unit types etc in its most basic form......(based on modles I have)

HQ

Sorcerer - MoT - Aura of Dark Glory

Troops

10x TS
10x TS
15x CSM - CCW - + 1× Champ/PW - all MoK

Heavy

Predator - TL Las cannon - Las cannon sponson - Dozer blade - Havoc launcher
Predator - TL Las cannon - Las Cannon sponson - Dozer blade - Havoc launcher
8x Havoc Marines - (4x Autocannon - 1x Champ - 4x marines to soak up fire)

Elite

Heĺlbrute - Reaper autocannon

Fast

Heldrake - Baleflamer

All in all the army as it stands is roughly 1730 points. What do you guys suggest I do to bulk it out to 2.5k and have a little more versatility?

Looks good!
The tri-las Predators are expensive and Autocannon/Las would be solid enough. I'm also not sure if all those Autocannons are useful.
Helbrute is slow and not that effective. Good to soak up fire and maybe to slow down medicore CC squads but not much else.

I think your right in terms of the preds. I suppose having the autocannon instead would provide a wee bit of anti-troop as well as AT.

Perhaps some variation in the havoc squads or some oblitarators?

Tri Las preds have won games for me before - I'd keep them

To go bigger, would you be averse to more khorn?
A juggernought Lord and a unit of spawn are nasty.

You could bring a tzeentch Demon Prince with the black mace.

I'm not a fan of helbrutes with autocannons - they just don't do enough. I swapped mine's arm for a multi melta and keep him in reserve so he doesn't give away first blood.

Melta raptors.
Melta TTermicide.
Dp of tz with bm.

Regular marines with melta. Turn your 15 man squad into 10 man squad with 2 meltaguns, put in a dirge caster rhino. Use the 5 remaining as raptors with 2 meltaguns.

Give each ts squad rhino with combi melta.

More extreme would be havocs with lascannons.

Your predators are too expensive.

Those Tsons need Rhinos. You've got three good Troops choices. Why not Ahriman for Master of Deception at 2500?
