Before I get all the "GL finding someone to play." my area is pretty open to all this new 6th ed stuff coming out. This will be for fun and probably tournaments too. I play Yme-Loc so it'll be nice to have a fluffy list.

Farseer w/ Bike
3x Warlocks w/ Bike

9 bikes w/ 3 shuriken cannons
2x 9 bikes w/ 2 shuriken cannons

2x Fire Prism w/ Shuriken cannon, halo fields

Revenant /w pulsars

Total: 1994

I'll be attempting to guide the titan every turn to increase his removal. Basically just keep that sucker in range and I'm sure i'll be fine. Any suggestions/help would be nice. I'm considering splitting off 3 from 2 squads to get one squad of 9 and 3 of 6 but then i'll have a squad without a warlock. I dunno. Any help is nice. Thanks everyone.

There's nothing to say, you took a Revenant in a standard game; you win bro. What's to advise?

The only thing you have to protect your titan are your troop choices which will expose them. Depending on what you face you can very well lose your titan on turns 1 or 2 and that will be a huge deficit to overcome.

I think what folks will see very soon is that deep striking, certain flier and outflanking combos will be very potent against this deathstar unit.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Sweet. Target practice for flyers.

You have no air defense. A flyer, especially one decked out with S7+, will have a field day harassing your titan.
Once your titan goes, everything else will fall. I would replace the Prisms with Flakk Walkers.

This is a great point. I'll work with that. Thanks a ton.

P.S. Titans are not IWIN buttons. They'll go down and then half the army is dead, especially with the revenant.

The titan is cool but i think its a waste of points, with the 1k+ points you could make an actual fluffy Eldar list.

your kidding right.

you want to pay 250+ points on a unit that that has decent anti air, and is super easy to kill???

crimson hunters are 5X better for that, and are cheaper.

OP dont go with flakk walekrs. Its true, you do need anti air, but crimson hunters are much much better.

define waste of points.
Because for only 900 points that revenant titan is amazing.
Sure you could get a fluffy list, but you can make a fluffy list with the titan also.

TItan is fully for Yme-Loc. which is my color scheme.

Also I would never take flakk walkers, that's crazy talk. I meant good point on the no anit-flyer. Honestly, i have no idea how i forgot about that. Prisms into flyers is a much better idea.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Alright so 2 hunters, pull off a bike or is one hunter ok, keeping a prism? I've honestly never used a hunter. my eldar anti-air has always been guided spiders.

This is my first attempt at this. I like Escalation. Although the Stompa is heavy on price at 770 points most of my 2K went to that big boy but hey, that's what its about isn't it.

I really like the Revenant army that you made. I tested it out and it was great!! I would invest in it if I were you. Just wait a while though and see what happens with tournament rules etc. If you aren't going for tournaments I would build it asap. Its powerful (I would even say its way OP) and fun to play. Also thanks for posting you Orks list, but do you have any suggestion for how the Eldar list could be improved as that is what this thread is about. I'm not trying to sound mean, but I think that there is a time and place for everything that gets posted on Dakka. This is not the place for Orks. I would love to hear more about it though, so if you would create your own thread on it that would be appreciated.

Put it on a Skyshield and now you have something similar to Fortune but not Fortune. Then a 20an Guardian squad with the Farseer within to ensure drop pods can't get too close on turn 1.

I'd be concerned with "what if the other guy also takes a Rev and goes first" - thats pretty much the main thing thats going to counter this list, as well as every other list right now.

Yeah the going first Revenant is the winner. Skyshield is amazing on him but does leave him anchored. Coteaz and Vect as allies means you steal on a 3+ with rerolls against someone else with a Revenant...

Heres something im thinking about. Using the revenant, and then using the void sheild projector network from the new fortification book, granting him 3 void sheilds. its an additional points, but hey, it makes him basically unkillable. I dont even know if that is allowed, but if it is

Yeah you can get him 9 void shields if you want. But they won't protect him from deep striking melta which is his biggest concern.

So I just played a game against a Revenant yesterday. I was trying out my new Tau army that I had tweaked so it would be better for going up against GC and SH. I got tabled by the Revenant. SOOOOOOO......... yes its totally OP with the D. I think that Psychic powers will become more relevant now that they can easily affect these OP models and give you a fighting chance.
