I'm starting a new chaos army, and was wondering what colour I should paint them. If any of you have an idea of a fantastic colour scheme you use or your friends use, or even one you've seen on the internet and liked, could you reply with the link? Thank you Very much so.

Why choose one? Being Chaos you could use many different schemes.

Hm... bit offtopic but the Chosen models make for kickass 1k Sons substitutes. Very ornamental and way nicer than the original Sons. Too bad there are only the DV models out there and half of them is CC-geared.

Regarding your question: What are you going for? Chaos undivided or one of the gods? Maybe some yellow or sandy color, that is pretty uncommon for CSM IIRC.

It is a very striking scheme and could be from any of the 5 powers or undivided. Gives you a lot of wiggle room for list building with marks. It looks like that type of shiny cream would take some work to paint (Light and primary colors are notoriously hard to do without multiple layers.) but the end effect is beautiful.

Chosen are great for modeling because they're one of those units from DV that not a lot of people play and are thus pretty easy to find on ebay. The way they're equipped is useless, but that's actually a strength; it's fairly easy to lop off their arms and heads and turn those handful of models into a myriad of model combinations. Arm them properly and they make AMAZING aspiring champs for your squads. Plus you can keep those extra claws and fists for your termies.

For what it's worth, Chosen are really underrated; basically Havocs in the elite slot, squishy and expensive maybe, but they can be a powerful anti-tank unit properly armed. (But I digress.)
