"I want to join the Survey corps and just slaughter the Titans!" — Eren Yaeger, Guardsman, Battle of Trost 999.M41
Who will be the first person to model a Space Marine/Guardsman with 3-D manouevre gear grappling up to slash the neck of a Revenant titan?

SnK is really overrated. I read it when the manga first came out years and years ago and while the first few chapters was interesting and the setting and overall premise is commendable, but the current character development, plot, and dialogue has gotten ridiculously melodramatic and juvenile, and the art is still horrid.
I guess the show has some pretty well animated action scenes but they're only impressive because televised anime is so poorly animated these days.
40K has enough firepower to destroy the entire titan, there's no need to even aim for the nape.

I thought this was about Escalation and the introduction of the Revenant and friends (with Destroyer-Weapons) to 40k...
The Titans from the show look a lot like WHFB giants (which are also dumb things that go in to eat people). Those go down quite easily, as they don't have the most important thing for a big thing to stay alive: a good save

To paraphrase Mike Poundsmith from R. Talsorian Games' Mekton Empires:
"And they were made in the form of Man, so the alien scum would know it was Humanity that crushed them beneath giant metal feet."
Imperial Titans are effigies of the God-Machine in human form, for how else will the xeno scum know their place under heel of the Omnissiah.

Attack on Titan is a great metaphor for the release of Escalation; We thought we were safe and secure in our little walled city (i.e. non-apocalypse rules-set) and then a Titan appeared which blew the gak out of everything with D-weapons.

The animation is unbelievable- the manga art is kind of rubbish, but it seems like it's a solo project so...
It's succumbed to manga success syndrome, where it becomes a neverending story.
