Gentlemen , so much talk here on tournament do's and don'ts. From what I've seen two of the biggest problems I've seen is the abuse of allies and sparse tables with crappy terrain. Remember GW itself says there is no way exact way that you HAVE to play the game. What I think will enhance and even out a tournament is no allies and increased terrain. You should have to play out of one codex and not cheese mid max out of another with the latest fad to help you win. it should be a challenge , right? I have a gaming shed here in Lincoln Park NJ at my house. I can hold tow games comfortably at once (3 is a squeeze). My tables are 40" high cut for 6x4 and conducive to comfortable gaming. If 3 local guys want to commit we can take a Saturday and play a 3 rd. mini tournament. 1850 no allies , no super heavies . As part of it each of the players can write detailed bat rep's and put them here seeing if the format is more fun and more balanced. I see no reason why standard forge world lists shouldn't be included as well. Let me know what you think. Also fully painted with NO proxies as well!!!

Also no units from the stronghold assault or data sheets. You have to win with one codex!!
