Has anyone actually seen this in person?

I want this traumatic experience. My son would absolutely love it, too. Heh

Yes, I went to the opening of the one in Glasgow (it ran in London for a few years, but its returned here). They used to wear the full Aliens gear, but lost the rights to it with its latest iteration. It was alright, but it kind of lost the effect due to me and my mates uh... being total gakheads. We came along chewing gum and sauntering about as the others ran screaming from the "alien". The escort eventually had to tell us to get into character, at which point my asian friend shouted "Gogira!" and legged it.

The one in Glasgow (note that the guy talking at the start was Glaswegian, ie not a Londoner ) just uses the basements under the train station. It doesn't contain any references to the films as I said. The guy wears police body armour and carried a HK... german assault rifle. The script, based on that video, remains the same though.

Gogira? I would have pee'd laughing.

Thanks, man.. Nice to have some insight to something I might never see! I saw some footage on it when I was younger in the 90's I think, then saw this on youtube.
