Wow, okay I think I have the name of the game here. 40K is about money. This game is just like one of those "free to play" online RPGs, you can play for free, but you'll never have any cool stuff, just paper cutouts and misshapen tanks and you'll never get beyond level 4. You can pay a modest fee and have a couple cool things but you're never going to beat that level 13 Rogue who keeps sneak attacking you as soon as you enter the PVP area. Or you can go all out, dump your saving account (and probably get dumped by your GF) and have the most kick butt gear, be completely untouchable and become a level 99 demi-god (in your own mind).

Someone once said that luck has no place in war, and I tend to agree. Mind you, the guy who said that was probably a veteran...

So, go check out my offer on the S&T forum! Take these wretched plastic toys off my hands before they end up as "modern art"!

You can play for free? Last time I checked, I had to pay for my rulebooks so I could play the game.
