I'm painting up a Hamelin crew right now and I want to paint his clothes to be dirty. Only thing is, I have no idea how to go about it. So can anyone tell me how to go do it?

Any tips would be help me immensely.

Not familiar with the model, nor could I make any color assumptions without being given a scheme (quick GIS netted mostly crappy pictures of widely varied schemes) - any more info you could give? Color/type of clothes and assumed environment, especially? There's a big difference between how I would make a linen shirt look unwashed and how I would add dust or mud to the bottom of a leather trenchcoat.

RageQuitRabbit did some really nice dirty effects on my penal legion. Ask him for some advice on how he did it. I was pretty amazed. He used a dirty light brown ill link to a picture....

Agrax Earthshade wash. Worked great for my cultists.
