I haven't used my Eldar in a bit, and quite a bit has happened/come out in the last few months. I'm trying to get a good TAC list going on.

I'm debating the choice of HQs. I haven't used any CC HQs before, though Asurmen with the Avengers in a Serpent could get into CC and provide enough of a distraction to allow the Avatar to get somewhere in one piece.

Well, the avator is a llittle bit out of place in this list. With only one tank, and 3 easily killed war walkers, alot of that nti tank weaponary will be derictoed towards him. Asurmen with dire avegners is a decent to good combo, but it doesnt take much to kill one guy with 2+ armour in a 5 man dire avenger squad.

If you had more tanks then i would go for the avatar, as he would last much longer, but i wound take him in this list.

asurmen is your choice. I think a mantle sear would be best, guiding those war walkers and doing other fun stuff.
