What do you think about this list? Farsight will deep strike with the bodyguards and destroy the enemy Titan etc. or just wreck some stuff. Everything else just sits behind the VS and shoots. It was just an idea so I decided to make a list. What do you think? Could it be played competitively?

Its to connect the void shields i believe. My friend made the list. I will get him to post more strategy behind it here.

You don't need the pipe lines for the void shields. You can just have the generator by itself. You do know the generator and the pipe line cost points, right? I don't see a total next to those entries, like the others.

To have the three generators in one fortification slot you need to take the formation which requires a minimum of one pipeline. It cost the same as seven ageis defence lines minus a multi-melta upgrade on a landraider.

Ah yes, that is true.
This list could work. Experiment with it and see how it goes.

It looks like it would be interesting, especially because then shooting attacks do pretty much nothing when you play against it. I will test it out and let you know how it does.

Does anyone else have ideas on what I could try/tweak on the list? Also, what are other Tau competitive lists that people are running now that you have Titans, Gargantuan Creatures and Super Heavies running around in the game? I am either going to build this list or the O'Vesa Star the I have already tested, but I really can't decide ever since Escalation was released. What do you think I should run?

first off you do not have enough firepower in 3 crisis suits + farsight to kill a titan especially with basicly no markerlight support. Fusion is good.. just bring more.
Also drop the target lock and vectored retro thrust. your deathstar here has one goal... destroy the SH, it will either do it or be dead next turn.
With no comm line to bring in reserves more reliably, crisis suits is not a great idea as troops. or at least, never have them close to eash other, single models that he has to shoot at might survive as they don't want to waste a D weapon on a single model worth 60 points.
kroot x10 x6 = 600
hammerhead (basic) = 125 x3 =375
crisis x3 (fusion/fusion) = 156 = 468
total at 1443
Probably want to add an aegis line just to get a comms relay and put it out of LOS somewhere.
kroot are cheap and can maybe have a couple models survive a D- template if spread out. but 6 units means a couple turns of survival.
Basic hammerheads with railguns x3, so they might have one survive past the first round if you don't go first, just to throw out that str 10 AP1 shot at the SH.
Crisis to Deepstrike in and kill SH, I'd probably end up twin linking on of the fusion, they don't need target locks or any extra toys... they have one purpose and if they don't do it they are dead.
Farsight does add in the nice NO SCATTER but is not as needed with the extra range on tau's melta. You do need melta, or simular ap 1, and lots of bodies.

I suggest dropping all of the other gear on the bodyguards and put two Fusion on six of them and give one the wargear that gives the unit twinlinked. Drop it off the commander and give him Fusion as well, or better yet take an ethereal (see below). Farsight's ability to not scatter when he deepstrikes is very useful.
Also, maybe consider taking 5 paranhas with fusion. This way on turn one you can flat out with them giving them 4+ cover save from shooting except from D-Weapons and forcing the titan into a field's choice. If he tries to kill the paranhas he might not get all of them if they are spread out enough and the survivors can get into range the second round. When (hopefully) your suits get there. And he will have to ignore your other stuff.
An Ethreal is a good choice to take with sniper drones because he gives them an extra shot at enemies within 24".
Take a drone controller for one of the broadsides if your taking MP Drones. For a few points a bump to BS3 is very nice. If your intention was to add the commander to this unit with the MSS and CCN then it is a huge waste in points.
Another I suggest is a Riptide. I think you are too focused on killing a titan/SH and not accounting for the rest of the army. A Riptide will give you a nice blast template and some survivability to hold off the rest of his army while you take down the big stuff.

an ethereal is a free extra VP that counters the extra VPs from the SH... and dies even easier now, not worth it.
Drone controller does not boost Missile Pod drones... check your codex.
Riptide also dies to a SH and doesn't do anywhere as much damage as you need. A Single riptide may serve IF you can get enough melta/ low AP shots on the table and Spread out so they don't all die in one D hit... that is the key.
Fluffy lists are gone, standard TAC lists are gone, gotta rethink everything basicly.
Jy2 tactica does have some insight... you need a HORDE, aka MSU, or at least many many targets for oversaturation. Cheap tanks with AP1 (yay railgun hammerheads, somewhat, preds with lascannons are cheaper)
Piranahas are perhaps may be great choices, don't really know yet personally.

The issue you have is range. The VSGs go down first. In hammer and Anvil 48" range armies deploy out of your 36" range Crisis suits and wait for the bomb. With no drones that bomb can't survive long. If you're playing Eldar who rely on a Revenant you MAY get it down with the bomb. Revenant + Sky shield will be popular. Here's the maths:
12 meltas = 9 Hits glance on 4 pen on 5+ therefore 1:12 glances and 30:36 pen rerolling so 23:144 glances 1080:1296 pen.
1.437 glances
7.5 pen
Half hits ignore by holoshields. Thats 0.7 glances, 3.75 pens. 4++ results in 0.36 glances, 1.875 pens. On average about 4 hull points gone.
Then the bomb dies as 4 D weapons hit it... You need longer range if you're sat behind a Void Shield Gen as it goes down before terrain and shows your hand too early. Even Vanguard strike can cause an issue as you may have to deploy so that deep strikers can land in shield.
