Recently, and buddy and I started a gaming club here in Tokyo. It's been a plan we've had for a while. Our goal is to be able to lay down about 4 tables of high quality painted terrain and painted gaming mats (zuzzy). I want each table to have one large size LOS blocking terrain, so thats what I've been working on. Here are two works in progress:

We are all just awestruck! Is that all scratch built? And if it is do you have plans would make a great display piece for in my workshop

That looks pretty good TBH i was looking to get a load of those together for a fully urban game what parts did you use to make them?

I second kezwick: what did you use for these, because my table is severely lacking whatever that is.

In my local club, we are modeling ruins and elevations to create our urban terrain (very simple, build from scratch with putty and paperboard)

Elevations are good to avoid LOS (because of angle) and creates beautiful tables to play. It also increase importance to stay "higher" than the enemy.

You can also create some walls http://chicagoterrainfactory.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/defense-wall-1.jpg it breaks LOS too and is nice on urban terrain table.

@ Soltra: don't have any plans, unfortunately. I was going from memory of a building I saw posted like six months ago. I had pictures saved on my old laptop.

@ Kezwick, Eyeofnight: I believe, I bought 3 basilicas and a sanctum imperialis, I cut them off the sprues and bagged them up, so there might be some mixing and matching going on

@ ChiramMFM: I will be posting pics as I paint them, and then again when tables get finished, so keep an eye out
