Kind of troll because no one is expecting dark eldar footslogging plus it brings a flyer and 7 infantry units to 750pts, what do you think? I know it would be fun but would it be effective?

You get annihilated by anyone with firepower and over run by anyone with an assault army. You'll kill an assault dreadnought army that's about it.

I love it, only thing is i'm not very familiar with DE weapons, can you get any longer ranged weapons? If so i would take 2 or 3 because foots slogging anything isn't very fast (duh).

You have to have a 10 man squad to take dark lances on DE warriors but I have two in the scourge squad. All dark lances are though is blasters with double range and heavy weapon status. The razorwing will also have 2 dark lances and the infantry are all fleet plus scourges are jump infantry. Not to mention I won't be facing that many tanks but darklight weapons double as meq and teq weapons and the archon can slice meq pretty effectively with 7 attacks on the charge at ws8 i7, yes they're str3 but still likely to kill about 3 or 4 marines

Could you swap out a warrior squad for a venom so the archon and bros can ride in it?

7 attacks hitting on 3's wounding on 5's with no armour save = 1.5 recurring kills on average. Lots of scoring bodies though!

Swapping out for one vehicle probably isn't worth it, the venom will be taken out quickly with 2 hull points, possibly inflicting hits on the guys inside. More useful just to not have any vehicles apart from the flyer to waste enemy anti tank power. The archon is there mostly for counter assault. I mean yes he isn't that powerful with just a power weapon but he should be able to slaughter t3 based armies and keep marines (relatively) at bay. The point of this army is to keep objectives through msu spam and wait for the razorwing to clean up opposition.
