As another addition to my growing Nids in preparation for the new codex I have just about finished my Tervigon. Done mostly with washes I'm quite happy with how he's turned out and set to start on another monsterous beastie for the swarm:

Looks awesome. The grey seems like a very natural choice. I'm surprised I haven't seen it more on Tyranids.

Thanks guys, the colours seemed to go quite well together and for the sake of doing a horde of gaunts for the upcoming codex they're easily repeatable without needing alot of variation.

Its quick and simple really (drying time not included)

White base
Carroburg Crimson (and then dry)
Agrax Earthshade (and then dry)
Dry Brush Eldar Flesh
Carroburg Crimson

Aslong as you have other things to do the dry time is not a bother, and keeping your washes where you need them it gets things done nicely.

And are lightly washed with Athonian Camoshade

I've just about finished a warrior now, and half way through 2 more warriors, a venomthrope and 12 gants.

They all look very icky and deadly. That is a good thing btw.

They look fantastic, and looks like you can knock 'em out fast - always a plus with the 'Nids, haha.
