With all the talk of D weapons and how nasty they are, why don't I see an equal amount of talk for the void shield from the other supplement? With a potential total of up to 9 void shields to negate strength D weapons outright, for 340 points, doesn't that make it the end-all be-all of anti-titan bunkering? I mean seriously, place any decent long range firepower inside that protective bubble, and what's to worry about?

So why no void shield love? What am I missing?

Void shields are fantastic.

Truly a hidden gem.

They are good.

Of course, a few serpent shields shots will take a few down, then you fire the revanant but overall, yes they are good.

Hidden gem? Nobody talking about them? Maybe you guys are going to the wrong places.

The two things I see the most being discussed from Stronghold Assault are D-weapon fortifications and void shields.

Yeah, the Stronghold Assault tactics! thread pretty much consists of people talking about them and whether they are worth it (yes, they are in almost all circumstances)
