I have decided to finally take the plunge and build the orks that I have been collecting over the years. Am holding off on major purchases until the new codex comes out. I here there going to red do all of the Ork units

5 Nobs 2 PK, 3 big choppers heavy armor

20 boys choppers and sluggers, 2 BS

I like the rocket launchers better than BS due to the fact you need a heavy ranged attack or else you are doomed.

This is the list of the models that I have.

3 boxes lootas
1 box Nobs

I was thinking of buying 2 battle force boxes and 2 more boxes of lootas .
Put the choppers in trucks, make a warboss biker and 5 Nob bikers, have 3 squads of 30 shootas.

Another ides was to buy 6 more boxes of boys, 2 boxes of lootas and Gazkillthracka and run a true green tide.

When does the new codex drop?

Green tide gets eaten alive with the current codex; trukks get popped. I put my orks on hold until the new codex drops. Bikers and lootas are the best options.
