Going to be coming into some Christmas money soon and I was originally going to go with a Ravager to go with my other 2, giving me a tri-force of DL pain but then the thought hit me of using the DE Reaper from Forgeworld if only for verity. It also occurred to me that with all the Titians that could potentially be floating around with high AV and the fact that VP's are given out for every 3 hull points done, maybe the Reaper might be a good idea after all. I mean no matter the AV he will average 2 hull points done a turn, which isn't guarantee with DL. Does anyone have any experience with them? I understand the suffer from single shot syndrome but I have a Farseer with prescience/guide support to help out. He can potentially deal out 4 hull points of damage to <14 with the strength 7 shot as well, and the dispersed shot, while not incredibly powerful, lets it target hordes that a ravage would barely scratch. Thoughts?

I've proxied them a few times to get a feel before laying down cash, and was disappointed every time. The lance curse totally spreads to the OBG they've got; I didn't hurt anything before losing them. Plus with them being more points than a ravager, they basically NEED to ensure they're hitting or else what's the point?

...but they look sooooo good.
