So since 6th Chaos Codex dropped I have tinkered around with various lists with my limited models. I just cannot seem to win any games. Some of the lists I face are: Necrons (5 Flyers and wraiths) space wolves (drop pods backed up by long fangs and Aegis), dark eldar (the usual spam list) and Eldar (all various lists but the one list I really want to beat is wraiths in serpents). They just rip me army to bits. I just don't know what to do, maybe its my tactics or just bad dice/play but statistically I should of won some of the games. Currently I am at a win, draw, lose ratio of 2, 1, 21.
My CSM squads just get blasted of the board and are not worth Gak, and I dont have the ability to shoot down the Necron airforce that consists of 5 flyers. People in my group say I have a strong list but the Chaos Codex is weak and thats the reason I keep losing. I really just Do Not Know!

I am currently unable to buy the recommended heldrake/s or any of the other competitive models at the moment, so what I have, I will have to make do with. Please Dakka, is there any hope for my beloved Chaos marines.
My available models in addition to my list are:

Every single special HQ in the book
2 DP with wings
lord/sorcerer on disc
lord with TA and additional ccw
sorcerer in PA
1 vindicator
1 land raider
9 TS
10 Plague marines with 2 plasma
5 Bikers with 2 plasma
5 termies with 3 combi melta, 1 pf and Reaper cannon, champ as standard
4 termies with 3 combi melta and LC, champ with duel claws
10 havocs with 4 ML
10 Chosen with 2 melta, 3 flamers (normal marines that I use as Chosen)
2x 8 zerkers with 2 plasma, champ with pf
8 zerkers all with chain axe inc champ
2 rhinos
10 cultists with auto guns and stubber

Where is the sorcerer going?
Also, I'd try to get the points for MoN on the spawn, T6 3W models are a pain to remove from small arms fire.

DERP I just realized the chaos lord was on a Jugger, scratch the MoN idea

I dont see a pred or oblitz as items you own. Proxy your vindi as the pred, termi as oblitz. Also ml havocs are not so great so proxy them as ac.

Jugger lord with spawns
Plague biker lord with 2 meltagun bikers (proxy plsmaguns as meltaguns)

10 Khorne beserkers, no axes or plasma pistols, maybe pf or just melta bomb. All ride in a lr, dozer blade and dirge caster.

Plague Marine squad with 2 plasmguns in a rhino, dozer blade and dirge caster.

The sorcerer baby sits the cultists. He is also my warlord.

The models in the my army list are in additions to others that I own.
I like the Idea of the second list, but do you think normal CSM with MOK and 2 flamers would be better than the zerkers?

With the sorcerer in the cultist unit, he will probably be out of range to throw buffs to the spawn and other units, as well as him not being fearless, still leaving him the chance to run off the board

And the Khorne CSM's are cheaper, but don't have fearless. The toss up though, is that normal CSM squads can take special weapons rather than plasma pistols. I'm a fan of flame templates

I know its been very late of a reply, I have had loads of home life things going on and lots of work as of late. It is BL only in colour and I have lots of Marine players in my area, so Vets is sort of a must.

Im thinking of dropping the sorcerer and using points for more cultists.
