Hey all, new poster, but looking for some feedback for a 2000 point list I ran this weekend at my local store.

Won 2 lost one, and the one I lost I had no chance, was an IG Tank spam list, and not sure how to handle.

1995 Points so one Paladin has a mastercraft psycannon for 2000 even.

Suggestions would be appreciated

just 2 things after skimming:

do NOT equip melee weapons on strikes
take psyammo and TL hv bolters or TL AC on the razorbacks

Hmm the bolters/autocannons still dont help my lack of anti armor though.

But just all swords on the strikes?

With With the points you save you could get yourself an ADL or vengeance weapon battery.

Saved about 65 points making all the strikes without psycannons have swords.

I made that same mistake with putting weapons on my strikes. After playing a few games with just swords, I understand why. I run Terminators since they can take halberds and hammers for free, save points especially since I run Coteaz and a heavy support henchman squad instead of Draigo (Before the Inquisition got its own codex and I have just kept it that way)

Your list is similar to mine except that I have 2 psyflmen dreads and terminators without any DK.

Since we have similar builds, I wanted to ask if you have a had a problem with mobility and/or reach with this build? I have re-formatted my army to take a Farseer and some Jetbikes to handle this weakness but I just want to know your experience to see if I have to change it up a bit. I also have Rhinos where you have Razorbacks.

Well one of the biggest issues I've had is with armor

But the DK's are worth their weight in points for me, between the flamer and the heavy psycannon they can take out units of troops by themselves

But yea I get the part about swords, and mobility is too bad, the small squads are in the razors and get them where they need to go and the big squad hoofs it through cover fairly well

I have coteaz as well, but if i'm playing an objective game i like to park draigo and the 5 paladins on an objective to pretty much lock it down against almost anything

The lascannons on the razors and making my stormraven anti armor were a big help as well

I have seen that DKs are back in full force and I have been considering switching over to them since it seems a lot of GK players have been having a lot of success with them. I do have one but I took him out to make room for the dreads.

I usually use the stormraven to drop the terminators where they need to be and they hold the objective. If need be, I split them into 5 man groups in order to take objectives. To help with this is the reason I took some jetbikes and the farseer with the terminators new role to be dropped where I need them in order to put pressure on the enemy but putting some DK with flamers and teles is a tempting choice to replace that.

Can you use servo skulls to make deep striking safer?

He can't, but regular Inquisitors and grand masters can. They cost more for the grand masters, though.

A grand master is always a good choice, I was under the impression regular no name Inqusitors werent all that hot though
