I keep hearing people mentioning dataslates and 40k DLC, but I don't have any idea what this is. I saw something about the new rule set for Belegorn (sp) and how you can buy the rules specific for the Daemon from GW, is that essentially what it is, that we are given the option to buy alternate rules for existing characters? If this sounds confused it's because I am.

Basically it. A Dataslate is a 40k ebook for a single model, and they are referred to as DLC, because they're like the downloadable add-ons to video games.
