I was on the GW site today looking at WoC models and cam across 2 units i am unsure of.

they both have basically the same name but look different i wanted to know exactly what the difference is, why you would use either of them over the other.

i am not up to speed on the slang so please either explain what abbreviations are or avoid them please.

here are the models in question;

as far as i can tell the second have less attack and higher armor?
are you able to mix them up in a squad?
do they have specific names? or are they the same unit but with different loadouts?

also sorry if this is the wrong place for this question im new and thought this was the most appropriate spot.

I may talk about recasts. doesnt mean i buy recasts.

The second link is the same unit as the first link, it's just the miniatures the box comes with are snap fit instead of with interchangable parts and stuff, and it only comes with 3 guys instead of 12. So it's the same guys, just less of them game wise.

so ones in the first link come with shields and such too and can be made to look like the snap fit ones?

Yes. You can make the warriors in the big box look exactly like that with shields. And as stated, they are exactly the same in-game.

The 3 set is a cheap way to test out paint schemes without dumping money on an entire box.

That's what I used them for.
