What should go first; fortifications or terrain?
Fortifications first. I don't want to be unable to place my fortress of redemption! 6% [ 1 ]
Terrain first. Aegis lines could look better deployed between two buildings rather than along the back of the table. 88% [ 15 ]
I'm a genfourer and I demand we remove fortifications entirely! 6% [ 1 ]

I wasn't able to find this in the forums under proposed rules, so I thought I would bring it up: would it be better to place fortifications after terrain? This would mean it would not count towards density, but would mean you might be limited by the environment as to where to set them up. It could look a bit more natural and would decrease the amount of people putting rocks in front of Icarus Lascannons. What is your opinion on the order in which fortifications are placed?

Where we play we do pre set terrain then place fortifications around that.

RAW I think its fortifications, then Terrain.
HIWPI terrain first, then fortification. Because it seems silly to build some fancy outpost tower, under to discover that you've build it in front of a frikkin high pillar of stone. Then again.. with the administratum and imbecile Imperial commanders, that might sound just about right.

I didnt vote, because I dont know if you meant RAW or HIWPI

HIWPI or potential desired RAW for future editions.
