Never played Minecraft in my life, my computer is crap on games, I don't have an Xbox, but it just hurts me not to play the game after watching MANY walkthroughs and lets plays on big youtube channels. Now its my chance to play it on PS3.

I know how the game functions, tried the demo and its amazing, but these controls are really weird.

Also my biggest question is, does it have everything up to date like from the lastest Xbox edition?

And how big is the map size if anybody knows?

It has the same veraion as Xbox - an older version than the PC one. The world, well, I cant remember, but it's huge. If every block is 1 meter, a couple o hundred times Earth, iirc.

It's not amazing.
It's several versions older than the PC one but the same as the xbox one.
Frankly it's worth just getting on PC if you can. It's pretty low intensity so it should work on most things, if you turn the setting down it'll go on anything I imagine.

There's no point buying the sub-par older versions which are on Xbox and PS3. Get the PC version.

My computer is very bad, and buying a new PC is out of word. Not to mention it blue screens every 15 minutes if the adaptor is plugged into the computer, very strange.

But what is wrong of it being "Several" versions behind? Is it missing mobs or..

Your computer isn't bad. It's broken.
It will be missing various things. For example at one point it didn't have The End or horses or enchantments.

I feel like the underground doesn't add up, I can take an iron pickaxe and dig straight down until I hit bedrock in less than a minute, and this is a game called Minecraft, heh
