Hey Dakka!

I've recently started a CSM army and my list needs 4 havocs with AC and 4 havocs with ML, the problem is the kit seems to only come with 1 of each, does anyone know the cheapest way to get more, or a simple (cheaper) conversion?

Thanks,
Rowanthedawg

Forgeworld do a set of 5 autocannons for £12 that look really nice and fit into bolter wielding hands.

Get on ebay and look for the old metal AC Havocs. They look good IMO.

If you are deadset on conversions though you can try this. Find a SM player that has Land Speeders. Buy/trade for four HBs from the LS kit, they are bound to have some. Cut he barrels off and make longer smaller diameter ones out of plastic tubing with cooling holes partially drilled into them(they should just look like divots). Add a grip from a chainsword to the back end and another to the top. Loop a length of cheap play jewelry chain around the figures neck for a support sling. Chaosify as you see fit with spikey bits.

I've used standard marine MLs & the FW ACs.
Warning though - the FW ACs don't fit that well on the Death Guard torsos due to their fat bellies.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Maxmini makes some nice gatling cannons that should do the trick for your ACs.

As for missile launchers, I might suggest odering Hunter Killer missile bits from Rhino kits and then doing some creative kitbashing. OR just order the missile launcher bits from HoB or Blackdagger Games on eBay.

This is exactly what I did. With a little bit of cutting it looks really nice too!
