This stuff is awesome, but after emailing them for a quote it turns out the transport costs from Australia to Europe are just phenominal. Wondering if anyone knows an EU company that does this kind of product?

Oooh thanks for the link, that stuff looks nice ; p
Two good sci fi terrain things kickstarted recently are Deadzone hard plastic modular terrain and Battle Systems modular cardstock terrain. Both UK based so shipping should be a lot better for you. I have my large quantity of Deadzone terrain already - it's awesome. I have a large quantity of battle Systems terrain on order form the KS too. With both, I should largely be sorted for sci-fi terrain now ; )

It is wholly unfair that these things can't ship to this part of the world for less than a kidney. Thanks for sharing, this stuff is ace!

Very nice link. Shipping will kill you but you might be able to combine shipping and send it the long way for less*.
Less may not be low enough...

Wow, thank you so much for sharing this. They offer some really impressive terrain. If it wasn't based in Australia I would be making alot of impulse purchases right now. I just can't justify the shipping costs. I'm really surprised there isn't more terrain like this available.

Can you order any of the deadzone terrain without the minis?

Supposed to go on general release in Feb '14.
They are shipping KS backers stuff first.

Most of it is made from Hirst Arts moulds.
(You get a limited licence with the purchase of moulds from them - but can also get a commercial licence to do stuff like this).
You can get them in the USA from Bruce Hirst himself.
I'd be surprised if no-one in the USA or Europe is also doing it.

About the same price as the item itself, I guess it will vary per size of object. I love the terrain, but I think its just too steap. For that kind of money I could 2 or 3 complete armies on the table... Sad though, because it seems to be some of the best terrain out there + light weight.
