I HAVE a Heldrake, but it's painted in pre-heresy EC colours. I KNOW Dark Apostles are subpar choices. This is an attempt to make things I already have work for me in a 1000 points list. I'm posting the list for suggestions, but we'll be working within the framework of:

No cultists.
No Heldrake.
Dark Apostle stays.

Drop the Icon on the Havocs for ubergrit on the apostle's host?

Where is you anti-air? I understand not wanting to take a Heldrake, but you don't have a reliable way to down one if your opponent brings it.

Would dropping obliterators in favour of a Quad Gun Aegis be an alternative? Then the havocs could sit behind that and the champ could man the gun. That leaves some points to spend though.
