After finishing my monster mash Lizardmen army I want to give a troll list a try.
The local tourney always has Blood and Glory as one of the games, which is why I have the two units of ogres. The vortex beast is included so I can sorta have a magic phase. I do not want any small humanoids in the list which is why I avoided a he'll cannon.

Hellcannons are great in WoC Monster Mash.

Chimera are better in pairs, IMO.

The trick to monster heavy without reliable anti-warmachine tools is saturation. So maybe add some more monsters! Personally I would fan out the Trolls... One horde sounds great but I would rather have a unit of 9 and a unit of 8 than one of 17.

I don't think Blood and Glory will matter much, you're fortitude will go down pretty easy anyway with just two banners. If you're set on the Ogres give them a mark... MoK is crazy with GW and Nurgle is good for survival (plus modeling them as putrid ogres of Nurgle fits next to trolls!)

Drop the Vortex, most people will tell you they are dissappointing. I'd rather have 2 Shaggoths and with ahw or gw at that (I'd say ahw...)

As a side note, I run a BSB on Daemonic Mount modeled like a monster in my monster mash list (considering the enhanced profile, he basically is...) This gives you reliable LD and re-rolls to that second Troll unit and also gives you more fortitude!

Can Scylla join a unit? He may be better off getting an essential 4+ ward bey having him hang within 3" of the DO
