Pretty standard tourney netlist.

May I ask why you went with Plaguebearers instead of something that can contribute like Horrors or more Daemonettes? I personally find that PBs are just good for squating on objectives and nothing else, but Horrors can do the same thing and throw out some S5 shots to boot. Horrors would at least be a more "fluffy" selection, and might result in a fewer eye rolls.

interesting, I didn't know keeper of secrets was part of a standard netlist. also, pink horrors are so conditional... pass psychic test, get throw deny the witch, roll to hit with bad bs, roll to wound, get through marine armor, then hope to not hand out fnp. horrors I find are very marginal. more daemonettes aren't very necessary as most of my army is heading up the board FAST. the plague bearers sit on home objectives.

The KoS unlocks the Slaanesh DP with the lash, which is a great anti-air unit, so its not uncommon to see one lurking about. In fact, a lot of the builds I've seen tend to just go with all MoS DPs so you have 3 sets of Lash attacks, and just use Fateweaver as Warp Storm control and re-rolls.

The KoS's access to Telepathy also makes it a popular choice because it can make those FMC even tougher with Invisibility.

As for Horrors, I tend to disagree. Against MEQ, they aren't that great, but against Eldar, Tau, heck, even Necrons, they can be a difference maker. S5 AP 4 will wittle down those troop units and allow your heavy hitters to go after the big stuff without worrying about getting bogged down. Plaguebearers just kind of sit there, and since Eldar and Tau can easily ignore cover, their Shrouded ability doesn't make them any more survivable than Horrors (less so because Horrors can re-roll saving throws of 1s)

The problem is the AP4 is only good against a handful of things from the armies you've listed... Also, Horrors are just too conditional.

Also, having a 3+ cover rerolling 1s is not more durable than just having 2+ cover. I mean tau will ignore this with some units, but they won't be shooting at plaguebearers when they have 5 MCs and 20 daemonettes running at them.

In my humble opinion the only place for pink horrors outside of running them with heralds is spawning them from the portalglyph.
