So I recently had the opportunity to pick up a second hand baneblade for the bargin price of £30 (see below). It's time to get heretical!
The first thing I wanted was a pole dancer on the back in a dancers cage. I also wanted the design to fit in with the rest of my guard. That means nurgley chipped/rusted look such as below (see Objective). The baneblade has only 2 of it's turrets and I was thinking about buying a couple of lascannon and heavy bolter chaos space marines to stand on it which could look pretty cool but would work out at £23 + £7.50 for lascannons so not sure if it's worth it. I might do it later.
Comments and advice welcome.

Parts (£30 baneblade + £15 herald) I balked at the crazy price tag on the herald but I really love the way the knee is raised and the arm is raised as if she is mid dance. I already had some parts left over from a coven throne which would make up the cage.
Spoiler:
Day 1 - Dancer Since I didn't have the baneblade itself yet I painted up the dancer. I am happy with her cloak, claws and bodice but her skin and head needs a bit more work.:
Dark Eldar Wyches dagger
The pole/right arm is made out of Dark Eldar Hellions weapon, slaanesh banner pole and sprue section.
Spoiler:
Day 2 - Soldering and Greenstuffing I love OSL and the tendrils of the maulerfiend should a good source of glowing light. I also soldered a few holes for the organic bits and bullet damage. (If you decide to solder your models make sure to do it outside and wear a breathing mask!). I decided to put our pal Kranon in the top hatch of the tank (though he is a bit tubby to fit through the hatch). The down side is that I will have to model the cloak flowing over the edge of the tank (not had much luck with modelling large cloaks so far).

Day 3 - Heavy Chipping and overcoat

Today I started doing some basic painting on the gnarly bits and some OSL. Definetly need to do some more layering as it is a bit sloppy atm. Next I think will be some more chipping and then painting up Kranon.
Today was Kranon and completing the dancers cage. I'm going to try some of the GW bronze rust (the blue/turquoise technical paint) and still have to do all the oil washes/streaking grime etc.
looking good i like the dancer on the back i do think its fitting that its a daemonette
