Against a common Syntherion list, what would some of the best counters be as another Cyriss player?
I was thinking about a Axis list with movement stacking but it looks like Syntherion can do that too and better.
Has anyone had much experience VS Syntherion and what works and doesn't?

My only experience vs him was using my cryx.

That being said, make sure you focus on taking down targets. If you leave anything even partially alive, he'll auto repair and get all systems back up.

That's all I got.

Since this is a list thread:
25 Pnts (1 leftover)
Axis (+6)
Corollary
Diffuser
Cipher
5 Reciprocators
Optifex Directive
Engima Foundry

I think it depends a bit on what you expect him to be bringing. Are you expecting Axioms, pure-vector lists or something mixed? If you're not opposed to proxying, you could try something like:

Lucant (+5)
-Cipher(9)
-Diffuser(3)
-Galvanizer(3)
-Corollary(3)
-max Reciprocators (9)
-Enigma Foundry (3)

Probably not the best list (you could probably make an argument for Obstructors instead of Reciprocators, and using the extra points to swap around some other things for another heavy), but you get the general idea. Use Deceleration to limit the damage he can do from shooting you, and feat if needed to close the gap. Purification means he can't neutralize your infantry with Magnetic Hold, and with Positive Charge you have a chance to burn his vectors down before they can repair back up.

While I'm guessing I'll be facing more battle box based battalions than Axiom armies, I'd rather do some theory crafting on toppling the Prime Axiom.

Lucant seems the way to go, I wonder if I can use a Szeras model to get by until his official sculpt gets released.
Can Enigma Foundries be used for the tier 3 requirements in Lucant's theme list?

Colossals are skewy at 25 points: they're probably going to be almost the entirety of your opponent's list, and you'll either have the stuff to punch through them or you won't. I would probably run two heavies if you're expecting to run into an Axiom, and run them either behind your infantry or near a sacrificial lamb light vector: the former will prevent him from dragging you into melee unless he can open up a gap in the infantry line large enough to pull you through (pretty hard for an Axiom to do to Deceleration-protected Reciprocators without help), the latter can Shield Guard the Tow Cable, which means your opponent has netted a 3-point Galvanizer instead of your more valuable heavies.

Lucant's on a 50mm base, so you might have to use/kitbash something bigger than Szeras.

No, tier 3 specifies "clockwork vessel units" and Enigma Foundries are solos (which are considered different things in Warmahordes). Realistically you probably aren't going to make it deep into most tiers at 25 points so I wouldn't worry about it (although with the above list I guess you could get tier 2 for the +1 to your starting roll).
