So I have heard if five flyer lists, but I don't understand how to field a list like this and avoid being tabled. So here is my go at a resilient flyer spam list. I am trying for hyper competitive anti Death Star tournament list. What tournament lists will do well against this?

That is 1850 on the button. It relies on having done enough killing in the first three turns that I can safely drop the small blobs onto objectives at the end of turn 4.

Dude you can have 9 flyers if you want.....haha

Quick list to show which I've seen played...

Necron destroyer lord mss weave

6 x 5 warriors in scythes.

5 man wraith unit

3 x doom scythes

1850 on the nose. That is extreme flyer spam lol

But that list will defo get tabled. A lot of tournament lists can easily kill 4 wraiths and a dlord in one turn.

I suppose you can start troops on the board. But you'd really need to sacrifice three five man squads to be sure of getting to turn two, I reckon.

In most tournies these days there is atleast 1 Los blocking piece of terrain in your deployment zone so all you have to do is hide behind that for 1 turn. Turn 2 and on average 6 of your flyers zoom on...

Also I have seen 1 guy take the same list but instead of wraiths and dlord he had overlord with phase shifter and 5 deathmarks in a scythe. Yes you only have an overlord on the table but it's so easy to hide him for a turn. The only list you auto lose against is drop pod though lol.

Yes. But: Drop pods, 12" moving shooting monsters etc. Anyway. I just like the wriaths and thing 7 flyers should be spammy enough to do the flyer thing properly. Trying it out today against a mega shooty deathstar army. I'll let you know how it goes!

So. List done good. Killed massive farsight/centurion devestator Death Star list. But think I'm going down to a conservative five flyers for my comp list... The turn the three doom scythes came on was funny though.
