A while back I tested out a non-standard marine scout color palette. I could never take the "red-on-white" seriously for scouts, so I came up with this. C & C heartily welcomed!

Not bad though I'm still more of a fan of the classic scheme. I do like the heads you used. One thing...if you wanted a serious scheme, why use that horrid goblin green on the bases?

Nice job, it does seem a bit counter intuitive for recon/stealth units like scouts to run around wearing bright red.

How to paint Skeletons the way I do if that's something you'd fancy trying.

Hahaha yeah I'm nostalgic like that with the green bases, plus I thought it would make for a bit of a contrasty pop. Maybe down the road I should up some proper night time urban ruin bases.

btw - your scouts are *amazing*, a gold-standard paint job for the classic scheme!

I'm not sure if Scouts would have Death Company, that would be a really early onset of the flaw. However, red crosses as a shoulder pad icon do sounds like an awesome idea!

Nice job. Are you going to use this color scheme on your regular marines or go back to standard colors.
