So thought I'd finally start a blog to show my progress across Fantasy, 40K, Infinity and soon to be Flames of War.

Been wargaming since June and learning Fantasy at Metro Centre GW. First had an Ogre army and recently started an Empire army for a event they're doing across the winter. Will get some photos up in the coming days.

Going to be learning 40K in the new year too so thought with having a week off work for Christmas I'd make a start on my Tau army that's been sat unassembled in boxes in the past few months.

At the moment only made a couple of Battlesuits and bought a Hammerhead that was in bits off eBay for a tenner! It's missing a few things but has the Ion Cannon and Railgun. Think I'm going to magnetise the weapons for the Hammerhead so I can switch between the two.

Anyway here's the start of the hammerhead and a hint of the paint scheme I'm going for. Not sure whether to go for a grey against the bright purple or stick dark purple/light purple combo....

Only using a iPhone at the moment, will be stealing the girlfriends Digital SLR for pics after I give it to her for Christmas.

Just built the Fire Warriors tonight, had some capes from Anvil Industrys for my Inquisitor for INQ28 so gave a few Tau the extra ones, also had a spare sniper from the same company so switched out one of the normal rifles in the squad with this. I'll also be using this Tau member as one of my members of the INQ28 Retinue.

Also here's the start of my Inquisitor, all parts from Anvil Industrys, great bits company! Think I'm going to give him a power sword and a Empire Shield. Still working out the fluff/items for him with the Inquisitor Rulebook.

Well I've not had the time to get much painting done this week but I've almost finished the Hammerhead. Still got some of the weapons to finish (trying to find a blue for the railgun and Ion Cannon.

Got two old Broadsides also basecoated, not photographed them as I want the light layer on first to distinguish different parts of them.

Finished the Missle Drones that attach to the Hammerhead too!

Cannot wait for the Digital SLR to be set up!
