I have just started a new CSM army. A while ago I bought a batch of Orks off of Craig's List and the seller threw in a whole slew of CSM bits (enough for a small army.) I figured it was high-time I put them together. As you can see in the pictures, I've went with a dark blue with a tarnished brass trim for the color scheme... (some dark grey thrown in for variance.) The name of this army is the Night Terrors. You might be able to tell in the pictures that the shoulder pad that displays their legion insignia is blank. This needs fixed. So I'm looking to all you out there in the painting and modelling world for some ideas/inspiration. I'm fairly good with free handing things, and I seldom shy from a challenge. So what do you guys think?

While I am in the dark as to what kind of theme/style/fluff your army is based on, judging from the painting they look heavily Tzeentch-oriented. Or judging from the name you gave them, they look strongly Night Lords. How about starting somewhere in that area?

Not only is it a funny Simpsons reference but I seriously think it would look interesting, you could paint it green and give them kind of an Alpha Legion vibe.

Ok... Well, hadn't really thought about it. I was thinking more of an all-encompassing Chaos army only slightly favoring Tzeentch above the others. Their members come from all around the Imperium and not just any one chapter. They are brutal in their tactics, they hate loyalists... They relish in being the embodiment of nightmares. Pretty standard CSMs. I'll have to work on their fluff.
