Hobby Town USA, 3830 S. Moorland Rd. New Berlin, WI 53151 (262) 784-9230
There are a few new things to note for this year, so please be aware:
There is a 3 color standard MINIMUM.
Unpainted armies will not be allowed to play this year. Models that are not painted to the three color standard will be disqualified and removed from the competition. If this creates an illegal unit than the entire unit will be removed. This is in line with, most if not all tournament rulings, including Adepticon.
On a separate note:
Forgeworld Clarifications
In addition, you must have the corresponding book for the Forgeworld unit you are using. These rules must have been published in a book and may not be released "trial" rules such as the current rules for the Tau XV107 suit.
Only Forgeworld models with rules marked for "Warhammer 40,000" may be taken.
New Missions:
We have been working on missions that incorporate past player feedback and have been testing extensively to support a fair, balanced and competitive tournament. If you have any input that you would like to give, PLEASE do not hesitate to email/
PM me or Tim. I can be reached at
joewirtz06@yahoo.com.
FAQ's
Despite the extensive set of
FAQ's and errata's present in the
40k system, we understand there may be some questions that arise that you may want answered prior to the tournament. If you have a specific question that you would like answered, please email
joewirtz06@yahoo.com with the question. We will aggregate any and all questions we release and compile them into an
FAQ to be available the day of the tournament. You will also receive a response via e-mail with the ruled answer, applicable for our tournament.
Codex Release Clarification
With the Tyranid Codex rumored to be released January 4th, we will issue a ruling as to which codex will be used for the tournament closer to the date and confirmation of these rumors is substantiated. If the codex is indeed released as scheduled on January 4th, then we will most likely use it [Pending Verification] however, if the release date is any later, we will require that players used the released 5th edition codex.
