Yes I know we have enough power armor but I was thinking would a cross codex supplement focusing on Renegade Marines work?

I'm thinking something that allows you to take certain units and items from both Codex Space Marine and Chaos Marines and maybe change the alliance chart around (no allies with deamons, grey knights, sisters)

Basically I'm imagining something were you'd see Oblits supported by Vanguard Vets and lead by a Renegade Lord, maybe you'd come across a Heldrake or something but not too many daemons or cult troops.

Put something like a restriction on the more chaosy or loyalist stuff like 0-1 of these items (Heldrakes, Centurions, Cult Troops) that way you get some but not all the toys.

Good idea? Bad Idea? Or Terrible Idea?

Sort of reminds me of 2e where Chaos could buy anything from C:SM by paying 50% more.

If the current CSM codex better reflected Legions, I would support a supplement for Renegades. It's just not the case atm though.
