Slow Play League Rules

-You can choose a faction that you don’t currently own, or a faction that you own to participate in this league. Begin the buildup to 15 points. This initial 15 points can be of any style or build. You can choose two lists in this league.

-We will be progressing in increments of point totals to reach 25, 35, and 50pts. A Steam Roller will cap off the League.

•15pts-Janruary 5th-Janruary 19th
•25ts-Janruary 20th-February 2nd
•35pts-February 3rd- February 16tth
•50pts-February 17th-March 3rd
•SLP Tournament on March 8th(Deathclock)

-You don’t have to have the models painted for weekly league play, but you will receive points for the models that you paint for the SLP. Models that were completely painted before the start of the league will not count for painting points. Fully painted does include flock and basing of the models.

•Huge based model(Warcaster included)--6pts
•Large based model(Warcaster included)-4pts
•Medium based models(Warcaster included)-3pts
•Small based model(Warcaster included)-2pts

-During each week, players may participate in point totals equal to the upcoming Tournament for weekly league play. You may play up to five games per week. You are also awarded three points for a win, and two for a loss. If you participate in an event at Maplewood Hobby that is outside of this league, you will receive points in the same win/loss total as in the league. This way you can still play in other events and not feel that you are missing out on any fun.

-If you finish painting a 50pt list a week before the SLP Tournament, you may earn an additional point for each MODEL that you painted. You can show your painted models to the Press Ganger’s to be granted these points. Yes this also means that if you paint two lists you will receive points for both lists.

-Playing the Press Ganger will still count for league points.

-Players earn a point for participating in the SLP Tournament. They also earn points for placing 1-3, Best Painted 1-3, Best Painted Mini 1-3. The following are the point breakdown for placement in the SLP Tournament. 1st place 5 points, 2nd place is 4 points, and 3rd place is 3 points (placement). 1st place 3 points, 2nd place 2 points, 3rd place 1 points (best painted army). Each Best Painted Mini winner will receive an additional point.

-Players that build an army designed by tiers will receive 3 points per tier that will be added at the end of the league to their point totals. For example if you have a tier 4 army, you will receive 12pts.

-Players may pay a one-time fee of $10.00 for the league. This means any Tournaments are free of charge for this League only. The collected fees are used for prize support in the SLP Tournament. Players that are not in the SLP League can play in the SLP Tournament, but will have to pay a $10.00 fee to play in it.

-After the last event, the point totals will be added, and the top three point earners for the SLP League will receive a bonus prize.

-Any questions please contact the Store Press Ganger’s.

-Player sheets will be provided in the store when you register for the League.
