Hello, all.

I'm on a quest to complete my Space Hulk collection and have found myself stumped.
On one of the pages in the Genestealer rulebook there are graphics of the many weapons used by Genestealer Hybrids in the game -- all Rogue Trader-era weapons, as this Space Hulk expansion was released in 1991. But I can't seem to find the real-world equivalents of some of the weapons and am wondering if you might know how to find them or what kits/sprues included them.

Here's the photo:

And here's what I know...

The Bolters and Bolt Pistols were easy enough; they were included with Genestealer and were originally part of the Space Ork weapons sprue:

Interestingly they look nothing like the sketches. So that complicates things for all the weapons, I imagine...

The Lasgun and the Laspistol are from the Squat weapons sprue, but the Las-Cannon...? The Squat weapons sprue has two variant heavy weapons but neither look like the Las-Cannon.

The Plasma Pistols were found in Space Marine weapon sprues like this one (looks like that might be another Laspistol right next to it):

Also not sure, but the Power Sword in that sprue may be the right one.
I'm not sure this was the first place the Plasma Pistol could be found, since this sprue is dated "1992" and I'm not sure it existed when Genestealer was produced (1991). Would love to know where the first Plasma Pistol appeared.

Both the Plasma Gun and the Heavy Plasma Gun elude me... The closest sculpt I have found to the Heavy Plasma Gun was included with a Necromunda ganger, but ain't no way I'm paying $40 to get a metal fig just so that I can cut away at it and convert the gun for use with Hybrid Genestealers:

In conclusion... I have no idea where to look for the Plasma Gun, Heavy Plasma Gun, Chainsword, or the Heavy Bolter or Las-Cannon. Also still curious about the Power Sword.

Any insight you may have would be appreciated.
Also open to suggestions for proxy weapons/sculpts but definitely not my preference.

Those are the models used for non-human bolters and bolt pistols. Many of the 2nd edition Orks came with those.

Imperial Las-weapon sprue. Lascannon, laspistols, and lasguns.

The heavy weapon on this sprue is a Heavy Bolter.

From top left: Bolt Pistol, Autopistol, Hand Flamer, Laspistol, Plasma Pistol.
Bottom Row from left: Chainsword, Powersword, Power Axe, Power Fist.

As for a Plasma Cannon, try to find an Ork weapon sprue. Those also have (I think?) the oldest plasma pistols and power swords.

Here is the Ork weapon Sprue: Also has a Plasma Gun.

Wow, very helpful! I appreciate your knowledge.

Any idea where to look for this stuff other than eBay? I still haven't figured out the best place to go for vintage WH bits.

Hehe, thanks. It helps to be an "old guy" even though I'm 31. When most people talk about the "old days of 40K", they usually mean 2000-something. That was around ten years after I got into the game, lol.

Yeesh, I dunno. As you can see already by the dates on the sprues, they are some pretty old bits, so ebay is about the best bet, as far as I know. If you want function, use updated weapons. If you are going for nostalgia/correct era, it may be a bit of work.
