So theres a Necromunda campaign looking to start in my local club.

Now I have only had experience using the Chaos Cultists ruleset but sadly those won't be used in the campaign.

Now I'm unsure what gang to go with currently. I know the basic about each, the problem however is in regards to the models them selves. I hate the metal models so I;m looking to do some conversion work though I have no Idea where to begin.

I'v noticed that Slaanesh Deamons and Dark Elder Wytches can be a good base for an Esher gang but other than that I'm stumped lol.

Cadians for Orlocks & Catachans for Goliaths?
Get pistols from Heresy or Hasslefree.
Heresy also does sets of Gangers which are nice (but metal).

It may be worth getting a whfb box or two for some variant bits.

Empire militia will give you spare swords, clubs, axes, daggers, etc. as well as some gang looking clobber (trench coats, heavy gloves, a few spare heads and so on).

The Flagellants box will be good to give you a more crazy/cult look, suitable especially for redemptionists, but also Cawdor. The wood elf plastics could provide interesting pieces for Cawdor too (hooded heads). The Bretonnian men at arms box could provide good bodies.

The Chaos marauder box has some good head variants for a few gangs and gives you that muscle bound thug look that would suit goliath gangs.


I think the best results would be mixing some whfb kits with the cadians or catachans. Catachans probably fit better with the militia/marauder boxes.
