Are you allotted a second LoW slot when using double forc. org?

It looks like you do, as it's added to your primary detachment as an optional extra. At 2000+ points for 2 primary detachments should mean 2 sets of allies, 2 fortifications, and 2 lords of war slots.

Yep. Of course, it will be very hard to have 2 Lords of War in 2k points, as they chew up a lot of points. Remember that to field 2 FoCs, you need at least 2 HQs and 4 troops.

I read it as 1 Lord of War per army/force. Not 1 per primary detachment. So in a 2000+ point game you are allotted

2 Primary Detachments

2 Allied Detachments

2 Fortifications

1 Inquisitorial Detachment

1 Lord of War Detachment

X Formation Detachments

The Lord of war slot is "Like the fortification and Allies slot"

We are told that you get a second Fortification and Allied detachment when you have a second primary detachment.

While it does not specifically say that you get a second Lord of War, the Lord of War being "Like" the other 2 would imply a second choice(or course in games large enough to fit 2 Primary detachments and 2 lord of Wars, and allowing you to have a functional army you are probably nearing Apoc where you no longer need the lord of war anyways).

Kel, I took that line to mean the Lord of War is its own detachment like fortifications and allies and not part of the primary detachment. Not that it gains any qualities of those other detachments with out expressly being granted those qualities.

I took it mostly the same way, only to its logical conclusion: that it is like those 2 in that it is not part of the primary; and then that like those 2 when you have a second primary you get a second of those 2(and thus the Lord of War).

The FOC chart illustrates this in shoing the LORD of War in exactly the same manner it shows Allies and Fortifications
