Here's my attempt at making an all Black Legion army that can stand up reasonably well to any other army. Disagree or Agree with me.

::HQ::

Chaos Sorcerer - Terminator Armor, Spell Familiar, Mastery 2, Last Memory of Yuranthos, Force Sword, VotLW

Daemon Prince of Tzeench - Wings, Power Armor

::Troops::

Cultists (10)

Chaos Space Marines (10) - Plasmagun x2, VotLW

Rhino [35]

::Elites::

Terminators (4) - 2 Powerfists, 4 combi-meltas, VotLW

Hellbrute - Plasma cannon, Missle Launcher

::Fast Attack::

Helldrake - Baleflamer

::Heavy Support::

Obliterators (2) - MoN, VotLW [158]

Havocs (5) - 2 Lascannons, 2 Autocannons, VotLW [140]

Predator - 2 Side Lascannons, 1 TL Turret Lascannon [140]

Im not sure what the last memory of Yuranthos is, but your death star doesn't seem very scary to me

Your troops are few and low points at that. It would be easy to kill them

Why not take the black mace on your daemon prince? Its just 45 points

Your heavy support has no redundancy, which is key in choosing CSM heavy supports. Go with 2 of the same, and if you take a third, make it the same as well or make it something flexible like obliterators

If by flexible you mean that no two units in this army are the same, then your list is a success. If you mean that this army list is an all comers list, I would disagree. You have much too much anti armor.

If you want a good BL all comers list, take obliterators, some heldrakes, and an abby/DP/term lord death squad, and a bunch of CSMs in rhinos.

Heres what I'd suggest:

Some sort of deathstar
at least 1 heldrake, maybe 2
2 or 3 squads of 2 obliterators
as many 10 man CSM squads with rhinos and plasma guns as you can get with the rest of your points

Why not just use regular csm? Why pay votlw tax?

Take out the Daemon, the Helbrute and make a decision as to which heavy support you want 2 of because as was said previously you need redundancy.
The Sorcerer is kitted out fine, the Daemon isn't. Yes he makes Strength 6 AP2 attacks, but he costs way to much and is way to squishy just for that, you need
to give him something to hit with.

The cultist squad is 10 men short of a realistic bare minimum, as it stands that squad could be wiped in a single turn by pretty much anything that isn't a grot.
The marines are fine, I prefer cult troops but that is just preference.

I assume that the Terminators are the Sorcerers guard? I find that the two units don't gel well because you don't want your sorcerer in combat where he can't
use his powers, and he is also just a little bit to fragile to really justify it.
The Helbrute is fine, if I was going to field one that is how I would kit it out but with such a hefty payload on such a weak platform it is likely to get slagged pretty
early on. Keep it in cover.

Heldrake is fine, not original but then you gotta work with what your given.

The Heavy support section is great, except that it's all over the joint. The Havocs in particular I would drop and replace with another Predator, that way you have
a little more Armour saturation for your force and you can concentrate the fire a bit better.

On an overall note it's got a pretty solid idea behind it, there is a lot of ranged firepower here, it just needs some fine tuning.

Thanks for the feedback!

For Repetition, I would claim there's plenty of it in the form of weapons. I've got (potentially) 7 lascannons, 4 Autocannons, 4 small blast templates, 6 Meltagun shots.

I also would claim I have good anti infantry. The Baleflamer will (probably) wipe out a unit per turn. Yuranthos is the Sunbeam power (nova), but can increase its range by 6 inches if you use another warp charge point. It's blind effect will reduce enemy BS and WS to 1 if they fail an initiative test, it also deals 2d6 bolter shots to each unit regardless of this test. I think it will be effective against all infantry except Space Marines. (which still has a 1/3 chance of blind)

As for the Daemon Prince, I think he'd do fine? He can smash armor, and tie up shooty units in close combat. I could scrap the Helbrute for Mastery Levels and the Mace (could I get the Mace? I already have an artifact.), but don't you guys think the missile launcher and plasma cannon are worth it?

Also the Cultists are there to be in reserve and grab last minute close objectives. Otherwise they have no point but to take that last slot.

Finally, you must take Veterans of the Long war on every model that can if you run a Black Legions army.

The Daemon prince would do fine, however I think he weighs in at around 220pts the way you have him kitted out.
The problem being that you are nearly buying a land raider, and typically Daemon Princes are focused
down before they can do too much damage. So the usual strategy is to go out in a blaze of glory and kill
as many people as possible doing it. Which is why you would want a weapon. However if you play with alot of terrain
and can keep him safe, stick him somewhere where the enemy will forget about him and then use him to hit a weak spot.
This is something I find they excel at.

The Helbrute has good weaponry, but again is only AV12 on the front. I totally get wanting to take it, I run one in my
Thousand Sons list with the exact same weaponry, but for the love of god keep it in cover and leave it in your
backfield. Otherwise it's a lot of points to waste.

Also yes, you can take more than one Artifact! You just can't take multiples of an artifact. For example I normally have
the Black mace and the Burning Brand on my two HQ's. I can't take the Black mace on both of them though, only one of each
Artifact is allowed in the army.
