May I come in?

Salutations, I’m Heavy Metal. A young southern gentleman with a predilection for the antiquities and theatrics if the mood strikes me and I am what some call an eccentric if one must want a more accurate account. Be warned I am as humorless as an Austrian accountant., whatever that means...

I hail from a quiet little place north of Charleston SC and been lurking about here for some time and it’s been recent I entertained the idea to join the forum officially. I’m no stranger to 40K although I have not played since 4th edition and was among those who were disgusted with the GW shenanigans of 5th edition for reasons some might find trivial so I’ll spare you the particulars. The Imperial Guard was my army of choice if my screename were to suffice to be self explanatory. I am very fond of tanks.

The games I occupy myself with the most are Dust Warfare, Flames of War, Warmachine and Dropzone Commander. Once in a blue moon I’ll find someone to play battletech with if I am lucky.

Some must be figurin’ if I don’t play 40K anymore then what the heck am I doing here on dakkadakka?

Honestly, I’m here for second opinions on wargaming related topics in general. Having said that I hope you’ll keep me for the time being.
