I got an email back from Jez...seems packages going to the US are getting delayed, and have been for several months.

Seems those parcel bombs late last year have gotten the USPS a bit jumpy, and parcels coming from outside the US are seeing increased customs processing times. He said the worst hes seen so far is 2 months.

Ixajin: If I was wanting to do artillery I would have the thread made for it, while it is a nice piece of cannon, I had this thread started due to making the less usual tanks.

Found this odd one, reminds me of a toy space vehicle I had in a spaceman set years and years ago

well even the spheric tank wasn´t that odd...fully justified entry here^^
from that angle tho it looks a bit as if it was kitbashed with a stealth bomber and a tank...

It was supposed to be very "amphibious, but the design makes me think of lack of balance as the treads and engine were 10tons and the spaceship part 15tons.

also it is not only top heavy but also the behind is much heavier looking... i bet taht the first shot will send it tumblimg head over tail...

Especially with the turret pivotted to the side and on a hill!

boy would i be mad if someone would hit my treads...they must be a pain in the rear to fix...

and uneven terrain will be the hightime of any enemy... i imagine the enemy getting of their vehicles for a better view...so to see how this big lump of steel tries as hard as it could do to get uphill...or downhill for that matter...

I'd have to agree here. With his stuff being "official" for the Hammer's slammers miniatures game, AND also being seen in the AA (Ambush Alley) Tomorrow's War miniatures game as well, the demand has probably increased somewhat out of scale.

To whit; NO parcel mail is to be carried on passenger flights, but instead must go on dedicated CARGO flights (better if they blow up a FedEx jet than a United, less PR backlash) into the USA.
This would delay airmail packages as they would have to wait for a slot on a cargo flight/subcontract to a dedicated carrier (I know FedEx and UPS DO have space on their aircraft fleet - they share ONE airfleet between them, after all, and do use it for carrying extra mail cargo, etc).

Doesn't have any delivery effects for anyone outside of the USofA, but the manufacturing delays due to demand are worse (Not that I wish Jez ill. I like his work).
I just had to find an alternate way to get the 4 pieces I needed (fortunately another WAU member was selling what I was after.)

concerning how things are coming together and how certain countries are waging war agianst certain differently religious countries i think we will see this kind of tank more often in the news...

My hopes are for it to end, and that the era of such madness will end, may our wars become simply table top and computer simulations in the future. Maybe that is too much to ask for, but I have said it.

sadly i would say we are only seeing the beginning. The rich are getting richer, while the middle class and poor are falling even lower. Jobs continue to disappear in all the western nations. It has been shown in history once the ranks of the poor swell too far revolt tends to happen. People look to their governments to help, and when they fail they tend to get held responsible. I know we have been slowly stocking food, water, ammo, med supplies,etc. In general for us its not a bad idea since we live in hurricane territory, but the way the last several years have gone is just reinforcing the need. Just wish I could afford some solar panels for the house. if things went real bad and the grid went down long term it would be nice ti have the juice flowing, at least during the heat of the day.

the worst thing is that that kind of shizophrenia is some i share too... i think your right... the sticky end to all these things will come...too bad sometimes that we cant stockpile here the same things as you can over your place...put if ush comes to shove there is always a means to an end...

Yes, for all its faults the USA does have a few advantages. Not only can we own firearms, but my wife and I are in the process of getting our licenses to actually carry them.


That tank is eaxactly what I was picturing...well looks to be a WIP of it anyways.
