Clann Raukaan are Iron hands so if I took an Iron Hands detachment with Clan Raukaan allies does that mean by doing so I will be prevented from taking other allies if I have dual force org? In otherwords can I have the following:

Iron hands
2 hq
4 troops

Allies
Clan Raukaan
1 hq
1 troop
Blood Angels
1 hq
1 troop

All are Battle Brothers after all so will cause no rules clashes...

Yea or nae?

Your allies in double force org have to be from the same codex. So no.

Thats the case I thought would apply, but wondered if Clan Ruukaan being taken from the same codex as the primary detacment would have made a difference.

There is room for debate if you can take iron hands in two primary detachments, clan ruukaan as an allied detachment and white scars/salamanders/ultramariens/imperial fists/sentinals of terra/etc as the second allied detachment because units for those forces all come out of the same actual codex. The Blood Angels however do not come from the same codex as the other allied detachment so its definitely a no go.

Remember in the SM Codex it says when taking SM allies with a different chapter tactic that they count as a separate codex which means normally you would have to take the same CT for both ally slots in double force org. I'm not sure if Clan Raukaan says anything to change that but I don't think it does.

Can you ally Clan Raukaan to other Iron Hands Space Marines? I just assumed they'd be a normal detachment.

No, you cannot Ally Clan Raukaan and Iron Hands.

The Supplement does not allow it and the SM Codex specifically forbids it(no Allying 2 chapters with the same Tactics).

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

Good, so the thread is moot.
