This is my spartan inspired wraithknight, the idea came from the helmets on the Dire Avengers, the Suncannon (will still count as ) has been remodeled as a spear the shield was the bottom of a can of soft drink.

I have tried to push myself with this mini as it will centre piece my army, and am fairly happy with the result.

Iron Warriors Army: Enyo Company
Enyo (Greek: Ενυώ, English translation: "warlike" in Greek mythology; Roman: Bellona), was an ancient goddess of war, acting as a counterpart and companion to the war god Ares. She is also identified as his sister, and daughter of Zeus and Hera in a role closely resembling that of Eris; with Homer in particular representing the two as the same goddess. As goddess of war, Enyo is responsible for orchestrating the destruction of cities

Can I buy this at McDonald's? Because I'm loving it!

Seriously great work! Love the freehand, you have a great color palette, and the lighting effects are evocative as well as understated (which is the key to pulling them off). I love the crest on the helmet.

For a minute, I had this sick feeling in my gut that I was going to see some horrible Halo-inspired piece. Thanks for restoring a tiny portion of my faith in humanity.

The armour is mostly airbrush, just too dam big to paint by hand.

Some bad with the good, I would go with a more cinematic pose on a model you have obviously put painstaking effort and untold hours into. But wow does that thing look great.

Sorry I was waiting for someone else to do it so I wouldn't feel 12. Couldn't hold it in.

Awesome model, would love to see an entire spartaned out eldar army. It would be so cool. You could make a Persian themed chaos army for them to battle.

To be fair, if the pilot were at some point a mere civilian member of a craftworld, he could have been a tailor!

The helmet really sets it off - is that from a 3rd party or just really smooth greenstuffing?

The helm, faceplate was filled in with putty and visor was cut out with a razor saw, the last third of the helm was cut and held upright with more putty, the comb was made with (surprise), even more putty.
I'm too cheap to buy greenstuff so i use Kneadit which is a epoxy plumbers / builders product, goes hard way too quick but is very strong and sands really well.

The standard faceplate looks stupid on these things anyway.

Paintjob is amazing. I think the pose is good too, unlike most people.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

I really cant say much more than the other posts here, great all over.
Im just slowly getting used to how nerdy and awkvard the original model looks (especially the head and poseability).
And now this makes the whole thing awesome with some minor conversions, and i could not agree more with your thoughts on the original head.

Also, the style of your model fit the pose great in my oppinion.
