Kroot all the way. They're cheaper and more versatile because of scout and the sniper rounds really help in a MC heavy meta.

I'd have to see your list. Depends on how sturdy your primary scoring is.

I'd probably grab a biggish squad, at least 15 strong with sniper rounds and a hound.
