So I recently got Dayz of steam to play with some friends and i as wondering if anyone with the standalone is interested in playing with me or anyone else i died fairly recently but i am now at Balota (The Airfield).

Balota is a bad place to be.... In the mod version I do my early scavenging around Pavlovo and Bor due to its high density of deer stands (which give low level military loot) and relatively low population, before moving off to around Krasnotav airfield for late game soloing and of course organised airfield runs for the real loot. I have no idea what that will be like in the standalone though.

I play with another community who are quite aggressive (apparently they took someone prisoner and stole all his blood yesterday) but I could probably do a couple of dakka runs.I won't be getting the standalone until the new year though.

i think ill be taking a break from standalone untill they fix it so i dont have to start a fresh character every time i try to play. it is really annoying when i spend all day gearing up and log on the next day to a flashlight and 9volt.

Yeah i keep losing stuff so i am gonna wait for a bit tbh the new patch as cool though.
