Gonna play my first kill team game in a couple of days and I'm struggling to come up with something competitve. My opponent is bringing an all wraith team and I believe he'll be equipping them with whip coils. I was thinking of running 5 marine bikes with 2 melta guns and a mm attack bike. I know I need mobility against the fast moving wraiths for sure and I was thinking of the meltas being used to hopefully instakill a couple of em. Would this work against 5 wraiths? Or is it a waste of time? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think you have a pretty solid shot. I'd go with that or legion of the damned with plasma.

I didn't even think about lotd. I'll give it a look but i'm just worried about mobility with foot troops.

Well if mobility is your concern I'd say the only thing that comes close to the bikes would be a blood angels assault squad with infernus pistols and/or melta guns, it's more bodies than the bikes but probably not as good.

Either the bikes or lotd are good. Personally I'd be going bikes just because they're more fun

Remember you get USRs for your specialists, so pick weapons accordingly. For example if using a plasmagun it might be worth giving the model prefered enemy to roll those 1's.

White scar bikes will work very well.
